If you have read the previous posts and are thinking, too late for me now….YOUR ARE WRONG! There is plenty of time to get your self situated and start your garden now! It’s not that complicated and you really don’t need specialized things. If you are too overwhelmed with some of the preparation suggestions, just dig right into the dirt.
Right now all you need to do is clear yourself an area. It can be as small as a 4ft square area, and existing border/bed along your house, a container, even one or more cubic yards of bagged soil you buy at Home Depot or Lowes.
Next, just have a plan on getting it regular water. You don’t even need the items right this second. You can have a soaker hose laying over the area, or a small sprinkler and just hook up your garden hose to it when needed.
Around Late March/Early April keep visit the stores to get an idea of what they stock which is usually things that grow locally. Or follow me on my adventure this year and follow along if something strikes your fancy.
